Introducing the nominees for boys and girls wrestling

The Iowa High School Sports Awards, presented by SCHEELS, has announced the nominees for the Boys and Girls Wrestlers of the Year. The winners will be unveiled during a live show scheduled for June 10 at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines.

The Iowa High School Sports Awards is part of a nationwide program that recognizes student-athletes over nine months, culminating in a red-carpet event this spring, celebrating athletes, coaches, and teams from sanctioned Iowa high school sports.

At the live show, the nominees for various awards, including Boys Wrestler of the Year, Girls Wrestler of the Year, Player of the Year for 20 recognized sports, Courage Award, Coaches of the Year, and Teams of the Year will be honored. Nominated athletes who RSVP will receive complimentary tickets to the event, provided by sponsors. Guests of nominated athletes can purchase tickets to attend the event.
