Twerking vandals wreak havoc on Glendora establishment

A group of vandals, who were caught on camera twerking on the hoods of Pink Sponge’s fleet of pink Volkswagen Bugs, caused extensive damage to the small business. The incident took place on April 20 in Glendora, and Jennifer Ahlgrim, co-founder of Pink Sponge, was devastated by the $25,000 worth of damage that affected 18 cars.

The vandals also carved gang signs onto the vehicles and threw cleaning products off the parking structure. Despite filing a claim with the insurance company, it was denied, leaving Pink Sponge to set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the repair costs.

Authorities arrested all three juvenile vandals responsible for the damage. Jennifer Ahlgrim expressed her gratitude for community support and assistance in recovering from the damage caused by the vandals. She described the situation as “really sad” but stated that Pink Sponge would repaint the cars, replace various parts, and restock their cleaning products.
