Transitional provisions will now recognize studies completed in non-academic institutions abroad and ease requirements for exams, practical training, and supervised work for individuals already working in the field in Israel. These changes are aimed at encouraging immigration and absorption in the healthcare sector.
The committee also discussed regulations related to exam subjects, supervised work requirements, permits, and practical training required to obtain certification. The implementation of a ban on unauthorized individuals claiming to be chiropractors will be postponed for two years to allow time for organizations to comply with new regulations.
