State Street Science Weekend

On April 27th, from Noon to 3 p.m., the Christa McAuliffe Center at Framingham State University will host the annual Science on State Street event. The festival is a collaboration with the MetroWest STEM Education Network and focuses on environmental themes related to planet Earth. Attendees can explore various exhibits and activities that showcase how science, technology, engineering, and math support environmental justice, renewable energy, and sustainability efforts.

This free community event is open to all ages and promises to be an engaging and informative experience for everyone. Exhibitors at this year’s event include MIT Lincoln Labs offering a table on building a lightsaber, Boston Scientific with an interactive human body exhibition, MathWorks demonstrating the Power of AI, and the U.S. Army DEVCOM Soldier Center providing information on STEM professionals’ contributions to soldier protection.

Visitors can enjoy additional booths and activities that highlight the intersection of science and environmental issues.
