German military leaders are currently working on plans to support American soldiers and their tanks as they approach NATO’s eastern front. A secret document obtained by The Telegraph reveals that Germany is preparing for possible conflict. In an interview with German newspaper Faz, Bundeswehr Lieutenant General André Bodemann stated that the army is prioritizing civil protection in the development of a new long-term security plan.
While much of the planning details remain classified, General Bodemann revealed that a significant portion of the plan involves logistics to sustain large numbers of American soldiers. He emphasized the importance of civilian contributions in this process, stating that civilians would be responsible for feeding and refueling thousands of soldiers and tanks. Additionally, he mentioned that the Red Cross would provide medical assistance and food services would be provided by civilian catering services.
This preparation highlights Germany’s growing readiness for war in the face of potential conflicts with Russia in the near future. Meanwhile, Russian forces are making tactical advances in areas northwest of Avdiivka, with an offensive operation focused on Chasiv Yar in Donetsk Oblast. According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), capturing Chasiv Yar could pave the way for further Russian advances towards Ukrainian cities.
In a separate incident, Russian armed forces attacked a railway station in Balakleya, Kharkiv region while Ukrainian military personnel were disembarking a train. The attack resulted in casualties and ambulances were on site. This escalating conflict underscores the tense situation in the region, with both sides preparing for potential confrontations in the near future.
