Yamaha Motor Company has teamed up with Lola Cars to compete in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship starting from Season 11. This partnership aims to introduce an evolution of the current GEN3 race car and drive technological advancements in the world of motorsport.
Lola Cars, known for its numerous championship wins, will work with Yamaha to develop and supply a powertrain for the all-electric, single-seater race series starting in the 2024/25 season. This project will focus on creating a unique electrified platform with software at its core.
